What are you most proud of? I took this purse into work and immediately reeived an order for 4 purses from 3 different people. I wasn;t even trying to get orders.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun!!!

Your purse is wonderful. I'm not surprised you got 3 orders! Congrats!

Love your stitching, color choices and purse design....a project I would like to try in future. What type of background fabric did you use? It looks to be heavier than cotton, and very appropriate with the lovely yarn trim. Congrats on your orders, and thanks for the inspiration!!

Thank you for your encouragement. I used a micro suede for the background. I felt for a purse I would want a heavier fabric. Even though the fabric is heavier it did not hinder the ability to embellish it. Have fun with your project!

Thanks for replying.....I think the micro suede is an excellent choice of fabric for a purse, and I'll keep that in mind. Again, your work is lovely, and I hope you continue to post pics of your future projects. I, too, loved Carol Ann's course.....she is an excellent instructor.
