Instructions

Just follow the directions for the pattern. One change or improvement to the pattern instruction would be to measure the quilt width/length at several places and average to cut the border strips that length. What was your inspiration?

I needed to make a purple theme nap size quilt for a favorite sister-in-law. I had seen this pattern in a magazine and knew I had fabrics in my stash to make.

What are you most proud of?

The overall look. I chose the rust colors because it is also one of my sister-in-law's favorite colors and it complements the rusty color in the purple batik.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

A bit of patience with the star piecing pays off. And, as always, have fun.
