What was your inspiration?
I needed to make a purple theme nap size quilt for a favorite sister-in-law. I had seen this pattern in a magazine and knew I had fabrics in my stash to make.
What are you most proud of?
The overall look. I chose the rust colors because it is also one of my sister-in-law's favorite colors and it complements the rusty color in the purple batik.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
A bit of patience with the star piecing pays off. And, as always, have fun.
