cotton quilting fabric, fusible web for appliques, and Maderia thread...this was my first attempt at using fusible web to applique and the pattern made it so much fun! Combining quilting and machine embroidery just seem to be a perfect fit for beautiful projects.

The beautiful combination of fabrics and the challenge of applique using fusible web.

The overall look when completed!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Study the directions carefully and experiment with machine quilting to make this a "one of a kind" design.
