Instructions
once the hearts are finished, rather than sew them together, i used white yarn and put my needle through both hearts lined up and did 2 dc in each set of stitches, making a ruffled 'lace' around the heart & also crocheting it together, when you have about 3 ", stuff heart, then crochet closedDifficulty:

What was your inspiration?
i made my daughters stuff crocheted hearts when they were young, so i thought i would continue the tradition with their daughters as well

finding a pattern that worked, then adding the 'lace'

be sure to follow the pattern carefully or you'll get a lopsided heart!
