What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun! Use lovely, sheer fabrics that you love and that make you feel special.

This is very pretty, graceful, and flowing, is there a pattern or did you just layer the fabrics to fit yourself. I love using fabrics that already have a story. Great job, please advise as where to start.

This princess dress is georgeous. I am looking for a fabric that would be great for lining a dress. A light weight sheer type of fabric. Looking at the image these fabrics look light weight somewhat sheer and have great drape to them. Can you share what types of fabrics these are and what they are called. I would like to order some for my dress project. Thank you for your time. Cecilia

All three fabrics are upcycled drapery sheers of some sort. One was a sheer, cotton/linen with an open, soft weave. The other two are from the drapery sheers section in the fabric store. The bottom, lace fabric was a curtain I got at the thrift store, the middle fabric was curtains I used to have on my windows, and the top fabric was left over from making something else and had been purchased from the drapery section. Good luck! :)
