What materials did you use? The 20 x 24" top is made of various quilting cottons and batiks; batting is a black poly from Quilter's Dream that looks and behaves more like a cotton batting. I used several colors of Magnifico poly thread from Superior Threads for the quilting on this piece; I love the shiny threads!

What are you most proud of? Even though the all feathers are free-motion without markings, they turned out looking fairly uniform because I had the piecing shapes to use as a guide for stitching.

Oh, my goodness! I didn't realize at first how tiny the pieces in this quilt are. Love the jewel tones on the black and quilting is superb. Fantastic!

I love that you took my design and miniaturized it! I love the fabrics and the quilting. I'm sure it will win some ribbons.

Wendy, absolutely love what you did by miniaturizing this design. Your colors really pop and using the same color of thread in the bobbin really looks superb. Great job. Let us know how you do in the show. Good luck. I'd live to try it, by what ratio did you reduce it.

Just wanted to come back and let everyone know that this little quilt earned a blue ribbon at the county fair this year!
