There was no real pattern that I used - I just kind of "went with it" - as I looked over the fabrics I had in my stash - then bought some of the princess material and made the quilt using patchwork squares and strips...real easy...- so I made this quilt with the Princess theme and added her name - first on top, then her middle name along the side and her last name along the bottom. What was your inspiration?

My niece. It was her 4th birthday - and I wanted to do something "special" and all girls love the Disney Princesses

What are you most proud of?

How nice it all looked together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

You don't have to confine yourself to a preset pattern - remember that the quilts of old - were made from used clothing and bits and pieces of other garments - just sewn together to make a functional cloth to keep off the cold...so whatever you try, it's up to you.
