What materials did you use? Cotton fabric top and back, poly batting. Fabric ink painted fish on cotton fabric. Quilting was Superior Threads So Fine #40/3 thread color #712.

What are you most proud of? How well it came together...using the free-motion swirls that Angela makes look so effortless.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to try something new and challenging....practice until you're happy with the results.

Thanks, Andrea! I drew the fish on a white piece of fabric and painted (with fabric ink) the entire block..water and all! Just wanted to see if it would be easier...it was! I machine stitched (with mono-filament thread) around each fish and also the details.
