What materials did you use? I used scrap yarn with size 5 needles for the cuff and size 7 for the rest. When I started this project I didn't have the correct size needles but wanted to practice making before the 'real' yarn arrived. The mittens are a bit small for my hands which is why I said they were for children.

These mittens are my first for a lot of things--continental knitting method, stranded colorwork and using four needles. When I started I knew they would be too small as I didn't have big enough needles (ordered them :-) ) I can totally see and feel the difference/all that I learned from the first mitten to the second. And that is so much fun! A did a lot of starting, and restarting on both mittens but I am totally fine with that. They were for learning and I learned a lot. I can't wait for the 'real' yarn to arrive so I can make my 'real' mittens!!! :-)

I can't wait to see your "real" mittens, These look great! I love that you took the pressure off by doing a practice set first.

Thanks Sunne! I finished the 'real' ones and absolutely love them. Thanks for the class!
