OK you guys got me sold on this class. This is what I want to learn to do. I have the long arm tabled that accommodates my sewing machine - now all I need is to learn how to make this design - which is what I want on the quilt I am making! Off to sign up! Completed quilt coming up after the course!

Looks really good. I also took this course but have not yet worked up the nerve to actually try it so hats off to for jumping in. Great work. I am inspired. :-)

I know how you feel, especially when I make a quilt for a gift I would like it to be my best work. I have now allowed myself to think of baby quilts as my practice of a new technique. Sometimes I surprise myself. Ann Peterson's class has been an inspiration.

This is great!!!! I love your title - practice for real. I practiced so much before I could do a "real" project - I was so scared. I ended up making two little nap quilts for my dogs because I couldn't bear to ruin a real project. I figured they wouldn't care. They turned out just fine!
