What is the name of that block please? I have a quilt my grandmother made with that design. I thought it was a Carpenter's Star, but I am told it is not. Thanks.

very nice. I'm a new quilter and I don't see the mistake. The stitching makes each piece stand out. I am going to make a Fall table runner with the grey.

I really like your "mistake"! The minute I looked at it, I thought if the middle were red it would look like a poinsettia! Great for Christmas, red poinsettia in the middle, the green around it and the outer points gold or white.

You are very creative. I love all your work, I will follow you. I don;t know if I could recreate my "mistake"

This is so lovely and very inspiring. I too cut my diamonds wrong. But instead of using them I went back and cut them again. Now I'm encouraged to see what I can do with the mistakes. I really like how your quilt came out. I have yet to finish my star - keep goofing iup the triangles. Maybe I'll end up doing two! Did you use textured fabrics? You've made a wonderful selection. Thanks for sharing.

No my fabric was not textured. It does look textured. I may try to redo this project to get it right next time. I love the classes on line. You can watch over and over til you get it right. Quilters are very nice people.

I seem to just go with my mistakes and make the best of what comes out. I will try to cut my diamonds correctly next time. You are a wonderful instructor.

I have not tried to quilt like this before. I really learned some valuable tips from Kimberly's class.
