What was your inspiration?
The bride's chosen flowers. These were done for demonstration and to help her choose what color she preferred the centers. Unfortunately the wedding has been canceled, so these are all that will exist of the cake!
What are you most proud of?
They look real. That's the toughest thing about gumpaste flowers.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Picture a real flower in your head, and don't be worried if you rip a petal or something's off-center. Real flowers aren't perfect!
