What was your inspiration?
The wonderful quilting motif's that Angela showed us in her course. This is the first time I have done free motion quilting, I love it but I need to practice alot so don't look too closely at the stitching!! But I love the textural effect of the different motifs. I particularly like the idea of echoing the main shape in the design as a quilt motif - which is the flower on my cushion.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The course is really good, I found it really inspiring and couldn't wait to try out the designs.
