I used all different types of wool and assorted fibers (sparkle, novelty yarn, fabric bits, etc) to make this yarn. Very thick and bulky, would make one heck of a scarf!
What was your inspiration?
I love making big yarns on my Ashford Country Spinner spinning wheel as it's designed to spin large fluffy yarns that can hold a lot of texture. This yarn was two big/thick singles that I plied to make an even thicker yarn. It works up well on large knitting needles or with a giant crochet hook, the bigger the better as the texture and colors of the yarn really pop out with large stitches.
