Because I'm such a pear I had to go from a size 4 in the bust to a size 16 (!) over my hips. I made the release pleats on the front 10 cm (4") longer to make it a bit more fitted in te waist.Difficulty:

What are you most proud of?
I feel this blouse is constructed well and I'm proud of that even though it doesn't fit the way it should. And I LOVE the buttons, I'm so glad I decided to go for them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make a muslin! I didn't make one because I was just too lazy, but I really should have because this blouse does not fit me the way I want it to. The problem area for me is around the bust. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this blouse and I will wear it, but I know I would wear it even more if I felt it really fit.
