I used scraps I already had for the kitty, some fusible interfacing, embroidery floss, stuffing & a couple of buttons.
What was your inspiration?
I've wanted to make one of these for a long time. A friend of mine's daughter recently lost her kitten & since it was her birthday I thought it would be a nice gift. She loved it.
What are you most proud of?
It turned out pretty cute, even thought I need to work on my blanket stitch.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you stuff the body REALLY well. If you don't once you attach the head to the body the head will cause the cat to fall over.
