What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't give up and practice ALOT!

Laugh? Laugh??? Your practice piece is AMAZING!! For a first attempt, this is way, so far beyond good. I think you are ready to stop "practicing" and get to quilting on a real quilt. I really am in awe of this piece.

Thank you so much! My friends say I am a perfectionist, I don't think I am, but.... I hate that when I travel/backtrack I can't, for the life of me, stay on the initially stitched line! Drives me bonkers! But Cindy was right, it's not nearly as noticeable when the thread blends with the fabric.

Your "playtime" is beautiful!!! GREAT job learning all sorts of techniques. Don't you just love a great day in the sandbox playing with all the toys? :)

Thank you all! And yes, Cindy, I do love a good play date! I was beyond intimidated with the long Arm and free motion/design it myself projects...the thought of actually doing it would nearly make me hyperventilate! This class has opened up a whole new world for me! I can't thank you enough for sharing your expertise, techniques, encouragement and the lovely way you teach!
