What was your inspiration?
Dress up play, this was the second version of my play crown pattern prototype.
What are you most proud of?
Making it easier and more efficient to sew, making the size adjustment more user friendly.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Clip all corners of the denim interlining. It is much more easily turned for top-stitching.
This prototype has a satin serged edge, but I think it would be sturdier if bound.
