What was your inspiration?
Arts & Crafts Show/Fair - needed soemthing else to make that was easy and useful and didn't cost a lot.
I made these up in a few different colors & prints (see pictures). They measure ~ 16 - 17" long and ~ 13" in diameter, ( 6 1/2 " across as folded).
What are you most proud of?
How cute they look. And, helps you save those plastic bags to use them over and over again.
Here are some uses to help re-use these plastic bags:
These can be useful in the kitchen, garage, bedroom/den or bathroom. Use as liners for the small waste baskets throughout your home and/or use them to toss your food scraps in during meal preparation or when cleaning out your refrigerator. Toss an extra pair of clothes in them - for the kids or on your way to the gym. Many other uses too.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
When sewing the elastic at the end, be careful to hold it with the pin attached- otherwise it may slip back into the casing and lose it.
