needed a simple table for my daughter's room for her lamp to sit on

my daughter loves it!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is very easy and took about 15 minutes to do. Upcycle before you buy new! You will be much happier and if you look for antiques, you know they are made of real wood, not that cheap MDF stuff.
