Hi Amy, there you go! I know, I know, I kind of cheated a little bit... A few months ago a started stitching 2x2 blocks and once I had some of them done, I didn't know what to do with them so they ended up at the bottom of my sewing box. I only saw your tutorial last week and looking into my stash of material, I bumped into these blocks, so I was already half way through the quilt! I had some old denim courtains and an old duvet cover that I have used in previous projects, so in no time I had the whole quilt stitched up!! So exiting! I called it Picnic Cross as I am going to use it for the garden. The back of the quilt is all denim. With this fun binding, it looks amazing! My second quilt after BOM 2012. Thank you!!

One of my favorite ways to make a quilt--use what you have. The 4-patch variation works great. Wish I could have a picnic with you on this future heirloom!
