What was your inspiration?

Our store has a celebration to shout out the 19th Amendment passage, 26 Aug 1920, giving women the Right to Vote.

What are you most proud of?

The fact that we have the right to celebrate a hard won battle. We can't forget the strong ladies that fought for all of us.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Get with your company, make plans for next year. We had a highly placed lady in our co. to speak, had Do-It-Herself Projects, and even a magician to entertain. Pass out flyers ahead of time to explain the reason for the workshop. Let them shout it out, too.
