What was your inspiration?

I was shopping at a high end furniture store and they had some beautiful bedding. One very romantic bedding ensemble had this beautiful, romantic pillow with a giant sheer ruffle and I knew I had to make one!

What are you most proud of?

If you have ever put a ruffle on a square, you know the corners can be a challenge. The wider the ruffle, the more difficult it is to get the ruffle to lay flat. This pattern has a unique solution to the problem and makes for for a beautiful finished piece!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Imagine this pillow in white for a ring bearer pillow! Place rose petals, pailettes or other pretty confetti into the sheer ruffle for a twist on the design. Instructions will tell you when to do this when making the pillow.
