What was your inspiration?
The fabric, with a variety of cute cat designs, was itself an inspiration. I purchased it specifically to cut out individual designs for crazy patch blocks.
What are you most proud of?
I'm quite pleased with the way the patchwork came out by using scraps I had on hand along with the cat fabric.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are new to making this type of design, there is a Craftsy mini-class on making zippered pouches you might find helpful. And if you are new to doing crazy-patch, just do a web search on "how to crazy patch."
