This is great! You have inspired to knit one for a baby now; shouldn't take long should it? I have a friend expecting her first baby early 2013 and haven't seen anything I'd like to knit yet. Not knowing baby dimensions I was a bit reluctant to apply this project to a baby, but think I'll just dive in anyway. This will dress up any grow-suit beautifully!

Thanks for your comments, everyone. Sorry I can't send separate replies to each comment. The "Reply to this comment" won't work on my computer. jjjthart, I started with 34 stitches on 5mm needles using 8 ply yarn for baby 3 to 6 months old. Hope this helps you. :)
