What materials did you use? ecloth, batting, thread (rayon and polyster), glass beads

What are you most proud of? My plan to turn disaster (the appearance of the stains) into just another design element!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't get impatient but enjoy the creative process. Most importantly, though, is to go with the flow when the design decides to go in a different direction. (Who knew parrots liked to dance in the rain?)

This a beautiful whimsical piece of thread art. I am so glad that you decided to go for what you like and make it into your own. Great job.

How cute! I love the bead embellishments and look forward to seeing a picture of the finished piece with the netting and beads. Incidentally, if the "stains" are the spotty bits - I really thought they were part of the design! As Lola says - no such thing as a mistake - turn it into part of the picture!

I love it, too. The spots give it dimension.
