What materials did you use? The background fabrics used are dots, spots, dimples, fusions, tone on tones in bright jewel tones. The branches and leaves are a batik. The background was made using the Radiant Suns templates from Cara Gulati. It was an idea that was floating around for a long time and this class gave me the push to bring it to fruition. The quilt measures 30" x 60" so I used Misty Fuse to position my appliques. The quilting is a mixture of windy looking swirls, twirls and bubbles.
