What are you most proud of? I think it was the pattern really (from Alabama Chanin's Studio Book series), but the fit is what I'm most proud of. The garment feels wonderful - as comfortable as a t-shirt. I'll definitely be making another very soon, and plan to embellish the next one. I love that this project has really inspired me to think of other ways these techniques can be used to create custom garments.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you're a beginner like me, you may consider keeping it simple on your binding by using beading. It's much easier than you think! If you plan to use chop beads, consider making the beading glove, but if you don't have time or just want some instant gratification - then dive right in (I did)! I went back to the Alabama Chanin website again and again to really understand how to overlay the pattern pieces before I found it explained in one of the Alabama Chanin books.
