Instructions

I bought the kit from Foxyknits website, which included the yarn & beads, as well as the pattern.
Tip: Make the scarf a little shorter than the pattern. I ended up with 7 tracks instead of 8 because I didn't have enough yarn.

What was your inspiration?

I met the designer, Marian Nelson, at my Men Who Crochet CGOA club meeting and was so impressed with this scarf!

What are you most proud of?

I was intimidated to attach the beads, but you don't have to thread them onto the yarn; the technique in the pattern is fun & easy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be sure to either order the kit, or buy 3/0 glass pebble beads. You have to put a 1.5mm (US#7) steel hook through the bead and pull a loop of yarn through. Also, blocking is ESSENTIAL for this pattern. My pictures are actually pre-blocked.
