I paper pieced this pinwheel baby quilt top about a year ago after taking Peggy Martin's "Quick-Stripe Paper Piecing" class and then put it away. Ann Petersen's class gave me the courage I needed to get it out and quilt it at home on my regular sewing machine. Using her suggestions about spray basting was a blessing. I also used her boarder & stitch in the ditch techniques on the body of the quilt. I then took it to my embroidery sewing machine and added a cute "Hola Mola" Turtle quilting design to the center of the blocks and body of the borders. When you look through the pictures, you will see a picture of the back which better show cases the machine quilting. I had a lot of fun quilting this project and Ann's Class made it quick, fun and possible!
