I raided the office supply section to make this unique thank you card! This card is a postcard style card... it doesn't fold or open, so it's super easy to create, and fun to give!
Directions:
1. Cut a piece of card stock into a square (however big you want it) and round the corners. This is your base. Mine is chocolate brown.
2. Cut two more pieces of paper where your sentiments will be written. I chose beige so stick with traditional office type colors (like file folders).
3. Punch out tabs. I have a punch from StampinUp, but you could just hand cut one out. Glue to beige square.
4. Adhere beige sentiment square to chocolate brown base. I angled it a little to add whimsy.
5. Stamp office inspired image to beige square. Again my stamp is from StampinUp, but you could use ledger paper or receipt paper as the background and it would be less expensive.
6. Stamp office related stamps on the beige sentiment paper. I love the "Original" stamp.
7. Stick a name badge at an angle onto the card. Stamp a sentiment where the name would be... or put the recipient's name.
8. Use a label maker to add a little extra message or date.
9. Use other supplies from the office, such as a stapler or paperclip to add accents. Colored staples are the BEST! :)
10. Leave the back beige square for your message.
TIP: I like to choose 3-4 colors for my paper crafts. My colors were chocolate brown, beige, white & light blue. If your name tag has light blue, stick with that blue as your accent color. You can even add a light blue ribbon to tie it together and it will look nice. I also had name tags that were red, but I thought the dark brown needed a light color to balance it out.
