What was your inspiration?

I saw this yarn knit up as an afghan in a San Francisco-area yarn store. The colors were spectacular and I thought they would look great in my family room. I cam back from my trip and ordered the yarn, then found the closest pattern to what I thought I had seen in the shop.

What are you most proud of?

I love the way the afghan looks draped over the back of my couch! And I'm proud of the fact that I finished this project after it hibernated, half done, for about two years!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure you buy enough yarn and that you realize that after awhile, you will not be able to take this project out of the house! But it is well worth it.
