What materials did you use? Jinny Beyer Colourplay fat quarters with Northern Lights background and Rajasthan border. Background of arcs provided by my own stash

What are you most proud of? That I finished the top! And that I managed to get the mitred border corners to look good. And that the colours all went together really well, as it is tricky when you are trying to auditon your fabrics.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I made an error in the pieced border, didnt measure properly - so just to make sure that you check twice, cut once!

when I saw your quilt I knew I had to make it .It is simply beautiful, Then when I looked and saw what fabrics you used and the name of the quilt I was floored.. Jinny Beyers is my favorite fabric supplier and quilt maker, and I picked out the New York Beauty to make for my grandson. But you made my mind up on the fabric to use .Your quilt is really inspiring.

That is lovely, thank you. Yes, she is great and I am very lucky to have caught a workshop with Jinny when she came to Perth, Western Australia. I'm sure you will make a terrific quilt for your grandson, using Jinnys fabrics you can't go wrong!

i really really like this pattern, but i really really have mixed emotions about attempting it ... does it have to be done in so many different colors ? is that what 'makes' it, or is it the complexity of it ? your quilt is beautiful, but i wonder how it would look in fewer colors -- i have always wondered about that, about this design ... truly a great job on yours - it is wonderful.

Thank you very much, it was a joy to make. Loads of the project photos have been done in few colours, so perhaps have a look through all the finished projects and check out those. I think they all look terrific and you cant really botch it up! Good luck!
