What are you most proud of? I finally did it. I followed the instructions for the traditional method of doing the curves and it worked.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try it, it is not as difficult as you think.

Love how you arranged your blocks - very original! Nice worksmanship, too - your curves look great!

Thank you for your kind remarks. For two years I have been trying to find what type of quilting was best for me. It would seem that paper piecing has won. Many thanks for your help in my journey. I will continue to do regular piecing at times, but will always return to paper piecing.

I am totally impressed with your quilt! Your points are so sharp, and the curves are nice and smooth. You are one up on me, Ladymax - I don't think I am ready to take on the NYBeauty block, but you have done a wonderful job! And turning one corner givesmit that unique wow factor. Love it.

Hey Dude, thanks so much. I was really scared to start this one, because unlike you have never really done any curved stitching. I have to tell you that I did not know my sewing machine would go that slow, but I did it. I really love paper piecing, but I am not sure that I will ever do a New York Beauty again. I am so proud of the curves.

Glad that you discovered paper piecing!! I'm pretty hooked on it, too (no surprise there!) I still do traditional piecing and some applique, but I do love the great results that come about so easily with paper piecing - it is so rewarding.
