What was your inspiration?

I've been wanting to try needle-felting for the longest time... it was one of my goals for 2012. So, I did it! I got a book from the Japanese book store.

What are you most proud of?

It's a bear! I'm just insanely excited that it actually looks like something :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just give it a try and don't obsess about a certain 'look'. My bear's ears are a bit close together... but I don't care! I'm proud of him :)

I just got the supplies for needle felting. I started it but put it to the side until I could really focus on it. I am hoping that eventually Craftsy would do a course with it. Your bear looks really good!

Stacey, really cute! I have recently done some felting and love it! I did a fire breathing dragon, quite large, this past summer as a birthday gift to my daughter. Isn't it so much easier than one thinks?

It is much easier than I thought! I had put it off because I thought it would be a big, complicated ordeal, but it's so much fun!
