Naturally Lacy Keyhole Scarf

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Knit Lab: Projects, Patterns & Techniques »

Instructions

I chose to pick up stitches along the center of the project to do the second half, rather than sew the two pieces together.

The yarn could have been easier to work with, as it tended to split, but I got a great price on it and the finished piece looks good.

Block, block, block. Makes a world of difference.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Classic, Traditional

Materials

Naturally Caron Country in Naturally, naturally

What was your inspiration?

Yarn I had around, and Stefanie Japel!

What are you most proud of?

I finished it, and it looks pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. I can see various flubs in the garter stitch section, but the lace looks fabulous!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Chose your yarn wisely. Get good knitting needles.

This is beautiful! I am about to make another scarf and thought that perhaps I would do a provisional cast on so that I do not have the seam down the middle. My sewing leaves a lot to be desired so maybe it is a good job for me to take the sewing class next LOL!
