Materials

More material from my years of sewing.

What was your inspiration?

Found the quilting board and was looking at older quilt a-longs and they looked like it would be fun.

What are you most proud of?

I finished it, I learned new things. I think it looks nice. I just might keep this one instead of donating it to charity, Which was the original intention, I will use the instructions to make another to donate.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Check back often to see what is going on in the board, and enjoy the conversations. All ways measure twice and cut once.

I am going to make this for my son. He starts preschool and has to have a quilt and pillow for nap time and this is going to be his quilt.

Thank you, I think it would make a great mat for a preschooler. If you have fun fabric make it a I spy type of quilt. I am going to put a border around mine and keep it for me. There are so many fabrics I remember from sewing with my daughters that I want it for me.
