Instructions
This was my first quilt & I didn't realize that a quilt pattern would only include instructions on how to do the quilt top! I had to scour the internet to figure out how to do the second half of the quilt.http://truecolorblog.com/2012/05/03/my-very-first-quilt-and-lessons-learned/

What was your inspiration?
My little boy! I am redecorating his room - upgrading his from "baby" to "little boy". I knew I couldn't BUY bedding - I wanted something unique... so I tried my hand at quilting. I'm really glad I jumped into this unknown territory of sewing... I thoroughly enjoyed it & can't wait to start my next one.
What are you most proud of?
That I pushed through my fears of needing everything to be perfect & just did it. I am embracing the imperfections!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I actually posted about my lessons learned on my blog: http://truecolorblog.com/2012/05/03/my-very-first-quilt-and-lessons-learned/
