Instructions

Although this is a fruit cake and almond paste is used before the fondant is applied. I used the tips for stacking from the course, but used studier sticks instead of the straws with it being so heavy.

Materials

This a tradition UK wedding cake. Made with fruit and brandy. Dark and rich and when cut only small slices are needed. Almond paste covers the fruit cake and then fondant.

I love this. My son's colours are chantilly blue and chocolate brown. I'm trying to imagine the colours using this design. Absolutely lovely!! Bless you.

This is an absolutely beautiful wedding cake. It was nice to see that you used a sterling silver cake stand to display your cake. It is so suited to the traditional fruit cake that you made and not often used any longer. Your son is very fortunate to have such a talented mother. This was a very terrific cake done in a very nice setting.
