The only change I made to this pattern is to make the ribbing cuff 5 inches instead of 3 inches. I found that 3 inches just wasn't enough to keep the socks up on my foot.One ball makes one sock with a little left over to use for repairs if needed later on.

What was your inspiration?
My feet are always cold and these socks are just right no matter what time of year it is. The yarn comes in funky colors and each pair looks great.
What are you most proud of?
Now that I am familiar with the pattern, I can make a pair in a day.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The first few times I made these socks I did them at home, then as I became familiar with the pattern I was able to use it as my take-along project. I love making them in the car on road trips. This pair was made on a recent trip to Indiana.
