What was your inspiration?

Love of color and texture. Loving the smell of fresh-turned dirt. Seeing birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and my cat & dogs enjoying the garden. Sitting with a book among the flowers on a lazy afternoon.

What are you most proud of?

That I designed it myself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Go with what you love.

another question, what kind of glue/adhesive did you use to glue the glass pieces together. Ive tried 2 part epoxy and my outdoor glass creations keep falling apart.

I use GE Silicone II caulk for all my outdoor projects. I painted the black bowling ball white, then glued on the marbles with the silicone II. Next time I would use tile grout on it, just for a more finished look. Have fun!

It is a bowling ball with half marbles glued to it. I've had it in the garden for several years, so it is quite durable.
