My Not So Itty-Bitty Giraffe Body

Still Working on it!

Still Working on it!

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
The (Not So) Itty-Bitty Giraffe »

Instructions

I used smaller needles because i knit loosely. It seems to be working out.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Toy

For: Children

Style: Cute

Materials

Lion Brand Wool-Ease worsted weight in pumpkin and natural heather.

What was your inspiration?

I have lots of friends who have grandchildren on the way. Wanted to make a gift and this Craftsy class came along at the perfect time. Also wanted/needed instruction on knitting with double point needles.

What are you most proud of?

I tend to start a lot of projects, but don't always finish them. I haven't put off finishing this project yet and that is a very good thing. I am slower than the rest of the students in the Craftsy class. They seem to be finished already...but i am still plugging away! Hooray!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Knitting with double point needles is awkward, but worth it to learn. Try it!

Thanks for the picture! I'm about there, too, and was concerned about whether I did the decreases right. They look like yours, so I feel good now. :)

Good for you, nice to see I am not the only one with an unfinished project, look forward to seeing it when it is finished
