What materials did you use? Cotton fabric and zipper

What are you most proud of? That I was able to follow the great instructions and make this bag on the serger. I learned so much about my serger through this class. I have had my serger fit 3 years but have not ventured out to do much more than 4 thread overlock and rolled hems.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and choose a fabric that is unusual because the fabric is the star of the show when it is all said and done. I wish I had done some more pressing so the corners would have looked better. Also, when sewing the zipper leave a lot of extra zipper at the end where your pull is, it will be easier to get it started. You dont need as much extra at the other end.
