This little project is what I call thread sketching. Take a photo or design and trace or print it onto wash away stabilizer. Pin or baste design or picture onto a light background,a piece of heavy stabilizer and batting. These need to be enough bigger than the project to accommodate desired borders. I took a thread sketching class and have made a few projects of my own since then. These are fun, especially working with a special photo.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just pick a simple design or photo and go for it.
