What materials did you use? I used a white cotton material and Sulky 40 wt. Rayon threads with a medium wt. stabilizer. I put it in a 7" embroidery hoop and used glue to hold it securely. I gave it to my daughter for a birthday gift she can hang on her wall.

I copied a picture of Buddy and traced it out for my pattern. It came out so good. I really love this technique. Thanks, Terry for such a fun and enjoyable class.

WOW! Just Pat, your puppy is great! Your stitching is wonderful and your technique very good. You know, the thing about getting an animal's face right is the expression....this puppy is adorable......i'm so impressed with you......

This is awesome! You are so creative and inspiring me to do animal portraits in thread. I've done several in paint, so now that I'm learning this technique, why not ?
