My Garden Path Shawl

Pattern Info

Pattern info for this project can be found here:
Garden Path by Lily Go »

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic

Materials

Mountain Colors Winter Lace and a size 3 mm crochet hook.

What was your inspiration?

I bought the yarn as a special treat before I moved away from Montana, and waited over a year to decide to do with it. When I saw the pattern, I knew it was "the one" to show off this yarn.

What are you most proud of?

I really became a perfectionist with this pattern, and had to rip out several times to fix mistakes I hadn't noticed a few rows back. It was worth every corrected stitch.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Work in daylight when you are wide awake! It definitely requires you to pay attention, but the results are gorgeous.

I think frogging is just part of any project...if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right and your shawl turned out beautiful.

I love making shawls! I found the Seraphina pattern and have made them in every color, with every yarn I can get my hands on. Yours is beautiful!
