What are you most proud of? That maybe I can do better.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just finish what you start.

Hello BecNJer, Welcome to Perspective in Landscape Drawing. Congratulations on posting your first drawing for the course. Thank you for including some information on materials and insights. You are off to a good start, and you are most fortunate to have such a lovely view to draw from your window. The spatial structure is handled well with the emphasis on the two trees, path, and fallen leaves in the foreground and the less apparent trees in the distance. In your next drawing, you may wish to consider moving the eye-level line down in the composition: somewhat below the compositional halfway point. It is always interesting to play with that line. One reason is because that is how the viewer "comes" into the picture. Another thing that you will want to focus on is circles in perspective. For example, the fallen leaves around the base of the left tree. But for now just keep drawing and enjoying the view outside your window. I look forward to the posting of your next drawing.
