What materials did you use? I used flannel for the top, fleece for the middle and cotton print for the back!

What are you most proud of? Utilizing fabrics I had. I even used fleece as batting! Only made as many squares as the back fabric would make.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun! I wanted my back to be all the same, so I used the same fabric for the back of every square. The choices are really endless. Use a filler in the center of each block (batting or fleece), or don' add the center (little less warmth, but a lot less weight). Use different fabrics for the back, making it more of a patchwork front and back. The choice is yours :)

love this! I have been waiting to lean how to do this..

Thank you. Even if you don't have an Accu-Quilt fabric cutter, you can still use the pattern and then cut the fringe afterwards :)

after the quilt is sewn together?

05/28/2012 Flag

Yes, Normally you would sew it together first and then cut the fringe :)
