I have this book at home. I don't remember which pattern but that it is black and white and I changed the patter a little on the boarder. I also made it King sized instead of twin. If you click the link and load the book it is the one pictured on the 3rd page. The back I made on my own.

What are you most proud of?
That I made this on my own. I can't quilt it but that is okay. I also made it on my Grandmother's Singer that is from 1954.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you are up to the challenge of this pattern. I just thought it looked cool and took it on not thinking of cutting all the material and measuring. It was very satisfying to finish and I can't wait to get it back from my quilter! I loved doing it all together but I would start out with bigger pieces if possible! :) Already on to making another using some of the left over fabric. Sewing is so therapeutic!!! :)
