What was your inspiration?
These are my fabric choices for the Craftsy 2013 BOM. I was inspired by many other quilts with similar color schemes. I like bright, cheerful springy or summery colors. The quilts with these colors on white background look so cozy and whimsical, I wanted to give it a try with this BOM. I just started the Craftsy 2012 BOM and hope to do it in conjunction with the 2013 BOM. My 2012 BOM is using black background fabric whereas the 2013 will be using white. The 2013 BOM will be the start of my third quilt ever. I am learning a lot about quilting from these classes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch the video several times. Print out the instructions and bring them with you to the fabric store. Get inspired by other people's blocks and color choices. Just go for it!
